"The Biennial is a trip to discover new worlds and also to be discovered and seduced by new movements, lenguages and imaginaries to think about dancing as a way to express our emotions" says Amparo Sinisterra de Carvajar, president of the 2nd Biennial.
This is the Pacific festival, in which the most importat thing is to highlight the gastronomy, the folk music and the traditions of this region in Valle del Cauca. It is an awesome experience for the locals and of course for the visitors who want to dive into this culture.
This is one of the most important and traditional festivals in Colombia. In which the favorite attractions are the "Salsódromo", the "Cali viejo" carnival, the antique cars parade, the "Melómanos" meeting, the "Superconcierto" a really nice musical show, between other shows ans events.
Located at kilometer 7 on the road to Dapa, there is Racamandapa, a place of fun, entertainment and relaxation for children, youngsters and adults. Here, the whole family can enjoy the fresh air that is breathed in the heights of these mountains that during the night offer an illuminated view of Cali and Valle del cauca. Its easy access and proximity to the city make this place the perfect escape from the hectic city life, without embarking on long hours of travel.
Its versatility rests on the wide range of leisure activities and gastronomic menu: a good nap in a hammock, a few beers or a ‘agua de panela’ (typical cold or hot beverage made with a sugar cane subproduct) to shelter from the haze that invades the walls of the place as night falls. There, where urban chaos does not come, there is one of the best climates in the department, making visitors enjoy a pleasant space of relaxation in which environments that inspire love, coexistence and family recreation are combined.
