Roldanillo, a spring of art
This is a special destination because of its artistic sensibility. Its visitors are surprised when they realize that its streets, people and landscapes are a living extension of the most well-known attraction of the place: the Museo Rayo,a place where the work of the master Omar Rayo, characterized by his proposal of the geometry and optical illusion, is exhibited. The Sala Museo del Intaglio and the Taller Mútiple de Formación Artística made the museum become a "University of aesthetics", thus fulfilling the artist's dream.
However, Roldanillo is not only a destination for tourists looking for art, but also for lovers of wind and ecotourism. The town is recognized for being one of the best places in the world to fly. That’s why in every January, a paragliding world tournament is held and is always accompanied by the city’s festivities.
Finally, there are its gastronomic delights. An empanada de cambray (pastry dough often filled with guava jam), a good coffee, a trabuco drink (traditional drink made of cornmeal, milk, eggs and vanilla) or a rich pandeyuca (type of bread-like treat made with yucca) will be enough to make anyone fall in love.
"The Biennial is a trip to discover new worlds and also to be discovered and seduced by new movements, lenguages and imaginaries to think about dancing as a way to express our emotions" says Amparo Sinisterra de Carvajar, president of the 2nd Biennial.
This is the Pacific festival, in which the most importat thing is to highlight the gastronomy, the folk music and the traditions of this region in Valle del Cauca. It is an awesome experience for the locals and of course for the visitors who want to dive into this culture.
This is one of the most important and traditional festivals in Colombia. In which the favorite attractions are the "Salsódromo", the "Cali viejo" carnival, the antique cars parade, the "Melómanos" meeting, the "Superconcierto" a really nice musical show, between other shows ans events.
This is one of the most importat fashion, beauty and health events in Colombia, in which the innovative ideas of the designers and business people are shown to the public and the esthetic lovers.
