"The Biennial is a trip to discover new worlds and also to be discovered and seduced by new movements, lenguages and imaginaries to think about dancing as a way to express our emotions" says Amparo Sinisterra de Carvajar, president of the 2nd Biennial.
This is the Pacific festival, in which the most importat thing is to highlight the gastronomy, the folk music and the traditions of this region in Valle del Cauca. It is an awesome experience for the locals and of course for the visitors who want to dive into this culture.
This is one of the most important and traditional festivals in Colombia. In which the favorite attractions are the "Salsódromo", the "Cali viejo" carnival, the antique cars parade, the "Melómanos" meeting, the "Superconcierto" a really nice musical show, between other shows ans events.
This is one of the most importat fashion, beauty and health events in Colombia, in which the innovative ideas of the designers and business people are shown to the public and the esthetic lovers.
Only 37 minutes away from the municipality of Florida, the township of La Diana is located. Near the moor, the lagoons attract its visitors into touring La Esperanza, La Fe, and La Caridad, these are the three nearest lagoons to the moor of Las Tinajas.
La Diana and its magic allow us to recognize and admire the most colorful birds that reside in the countryside, horseriding the green landscapes, and practicing sports for the adventurous visitors.
Spending the weekends here is a must, and to have a warmth farewell one must save the memory of the wonderful view of the majestic department, Valle, from the Bellavista lookout.

How to get there?
To get to the municipality of Florida from the ground transportation of Cali, people take many bus routes from various transportation companies, like, Tax Central, Expreso Florida, Sultana del Valle, Trans Florida. The trip lasts one hour and a half, and the prices range from $4.000 to $5.850 Colombian pesos ($1-$2).
Proceeding towards south-western Florida, taking Carrera 17th, you get to the 5th street where a short path without pavement is followed that allows people to get to the township La Diana. It is recommended to go in a personal vehicle.
