"The Biennial is a trip to discover new worlds and also to be discovered and seduced by new movements, lenguages and imaginaries to think about dancing as a way to express our emotions" says Amparo Sinisterra de Carvajar, president of the 2nd Biennial.
This is the Pacific festival, in which the most importat thing is to highlight the gastronomy, the folk music and the traditions of this region in Valle del Cauca. It is an awesome experience for the locals and of course for the visitors who want to dive into this culture.
This is one of the most important and traditional festivals in Colombia. In which the favorite attractions are the "Salsódromo", the "Cali viejo" carnival, the antique cars parade, the "Melómanos" meeting, the "Superconcierto" a really nice musical show, between other shows ans events.
This is one of the most importat fashion, beauty and health events in Colombia, in which the innovative ideas of the designers and business people are shown to the public and the esthetic lovers.
The ‘Basílica del Señor de los Milagros’ (Lord of the Miracles Basilica) is a must when it comes to touristic places in the city of Buga (also named The Lady City). To this enclosure over 800.000 people asist every year. Entire bugueños, vallunos and colombian generations have gone with fervor to the cults and religious festivities celebrated in this place. Many are the stories that have been written around the wooden Christ that lays inside the church, thank to the thousand of rumours about the miracles granted to his devotees. This is why (the amount of parishioners that the place welcomes annually) the church is now a Basilica.
This place, in particular, is a very imposing one, with and elegant architecture that took more than fifteen years to be completed. The solemn enclosure was only finished back in 1907 and many of its pieces, such as the campanary (the loudest and fanciest of the country), were brought all over from France, making this a piece congruent with the european style of the early twentieth century. Its interior is large, but the ornaments make it cossy. This provides a tranquil environment for all those who want to have an encounter with God.

The Basílica del Señor de los Milagros is located close to the city’s main entrance, exactly on Carrera 14 with Calle 3.
