"The Biennial is a trip to discover new worlds and also to be discovered and seduced by new movements, lenguages and imaginaries to think about dancing as a way to express our emotions" says Amparo Sinisterra de Carvajar, president of the 2nd Biennial.
This is the Pacific festival, in which the most importat thing is to highlight the gastronomy, the folk music and the traditions of this region in Valle del Cauca. It is an awesome experience for the locals and of course for the visitors who want to dive into this culture.
This is one of the most important and traditional festivals in Colombia. In which the favorite attractions are the "Salsódromo", the "Cali viejo" carnival, the antique cars parade, the "Melómanos" meeting, the "Superconcierto" a really nice musical show, between other shows ans events.

If want to know the most beautiful corners of Colombia, you have to visit San Cipriano, not only for its charm and beauty, also for its jungle-like and rustic landscapes around the awesome Danubio River. This place is a marvelous natural reserve where the crystalline waters form ideal natural swimming pools, as well as you can have a great adventure using the giant floats and letting them be carried away by the flow of the river. This park, protected and administered by the CVC (The environmental authority in Colombia), is located in the area of Córdoba, in the Buenaventura municipality.
You cannot miss one of the most exciting tours in the handmade 'brujitas', an improvised transport that move on the train rails, which are impulsed by a motorcycle adapted to the carriage. This is the only way to get to the entrance of this park. Already in San Cipriano, you will be able to find different lodgings to stay the days that you wish and to delight you with the delicious taste of the Colombian pacific food, especially the “encocado de camarón”, the typical dish of this place. San Cipriano is definitely an unmissable place to visit in Valle del Cauca.
How to get here?
From Cali, you can use public transport or your own car for get to the area of Córdoba, using the Cali-Buenaventura highway. Once there, you can leave your car at a parking, and then take a 'brujita' to San Cipriano.
