"The Biennial is a trip to discover new worlds and also to be discovered and seduced by new movements, lenguages and imaginaries to think about dancing as a way to express our emotions" says Amparo Sinisterra de Carvajar, president of the 2nd Biennial.
This is the Pacific festival, in which the most importat thing is to highlight the gastronomy, the folk music and the traditions of this region in Valle del Cauca. It is an awesome experience for the locals and of course for the visitors who want to dive into this culture.
This is one of the most important and traditional festivals in Colombia. In which the favorite attractions are the "Salsódromo", the "Cali viejo" carnival, the antique cars parade, the "Melómanos" meeting, the "Superconcierto" a really nice musical show, between other shows ans events.
This is one of the most importat fashion, beauty and health events in Colombia, in which the innovative ideas of the designers and business people are shown to the public and the esthetic lovers.
“Complejo Turístico Leña Verde” (Touristic complex) The “Complejo Turístico Leña Verde” is located in the municipality of Zarzal, it has a large number of activities which are perfect to enjoy with the family. Each place in it is very beautiful and comfortable, plus there are a lot of attractions for everyone. The staff is always giving to the tourists the best attention and service.
This is also the perfect place for the nature lovers, it has an imposing lake which is surrounded by the awesome flora and fauna of this region. That is the reason why this complex is visited by the ecotourists, who enjoy their stay in this charming destination, that seems to be a kind of paradise.
Its accommodations are various, including comfortable bungalows, rooms, camping area, pools, sports courts, hammocks, a dancing club, a typical restaurant and a parking lot. Moreover the visitors could go on horse rides, canopy and water biking. The complex is a pet friendly place.
How to get here?
The “Complejo Turístico Leña Verde” is located in the “Quebrada Nueva” a township of Zarzal, at the north of Valle del Cauca. The shortest journey from Cali by car is taking the the highway Cali-Palmira, going through different municipalities and townships, such as, Rozo, El Cerrito, Guacarí, Buga, San Pedro, Tuluá, Andalucía and La Paila, which is before Zarzal. If you want to get here by bus you have to take it from the “Terminal de Cali” (The main public bus station), you could get on the buses that are from “Cooperativa de Occidente” and “Coodetrans Palmira” which go in this direction.
